Continuing Professional Development Programme

The primary focus of the continuing professional development (CPD) programme is to support capacity-buildign and professional development for early, mid and established career Iraqi academics both in exile and younger faculty members still active and teaching in Iraq.

CARA is currently developing and implementing a CPD Programme to include workshops, seminars and lectures. To cut across the discipline divide, the programme has begun by focusing on generic 'foundation' skills from which all stand to benefit, including:

It is hoped that as 'communities of interest' begin to emerge that the programme will be able to incorporate more discipline specific elements into the CPD programme.
